Dinting won the toss and elected to bat first. They were soon in trouble as Dan Gibride (3-50) and Sean Critchlow (2-20) reduced the visitors to 51-5.
Runs in the middle order from Knight and Stringer threatened to set up a good total but Dan Waterhouse (2-45) and Dave Cartledge (3-14) picked up regular wickets as Dinting were dismissed for 135.
In reply, Dove lost a couple of early wickets and at 27-2 the game could have swung either way. Skipper Jack Gregory then hit a superb 56 from 52 balls and James Gemmell 47 not out this partnership of 101 saw Dove reach the target for the loss of 3 wickets in 26 overs.
SECOND TEAM | DIVISION THREE
Hazel Grove 155-7 v Dove Holes 160-9
Dove win by 5 runs (16Pts)
Unbeaten Dove travelled to Hazel Grove and were asked to bat by the hosts. At 74-6 Dove were in trouble but Mick Johnson’s 55 kept the innings going and Kieran Collins 38 meant that Dove reached 160-9 from the 40 overs.
In reply, Hazel Grove were always in with a shout as Dove struggled to pick up wickets. But Joe Gregory’s 3-25 from 6 overs saw the hosts fall 5 runs short in a nail biting finish.
Dove remain unbeaten and have now won 10 out of 10 league games.

BISSENDEN CUP SEMI FINAL
Dove Holes 310-5 v Tintwistle 157ao
Dove win by 153 runs
Skipper Gregory won the toss and Dove batted first in the Bissenden Cup Semi Final against Tintwistle.
The bumper crowd was treated to a batting masterclass from Dan Gilbride who hit 118 from 87 balls and James Gemmell who smashed 107 from 71 balls, the pair hitting a 155 3rd wicket partnership to take the game away from the visitors. Dove continued to run impressively and hit big posting a mammoth 310-5 which included 12 sixes.
In reply, Critchlow (3-26) bowled a superb opening spell ripping through the top order and wickets from Joe Hall (3-13) saw Tintwistle all out for 157 meaning that Dave Cartledge will finally play in a Bissenden Cup Final after countless Semi Final defeats!
Dove will play Old Glossop in the Bissenden Cup Final which is to be played at Dove Holes on Sunday 8th August.
