Woodley won the toss and Dove were in the field on a sweltering day.
There were plenty of starts in the hosts innings but the Dove bowlers all worked hard in the sun managing to pick up regular wickets restricting Woodley to 180-9 when it was looking like a much bigger score was on the cards.
Dave Cartledge pick of the bowlers with 3-38, the Duke also superbly ran out the backing up Heginbotham flicking a straight drive onto the stumps.
In reply, opener Dan Gilbride hit 49 but at 93-6 the game looked to be drifting towards the hosts. However, a superb 84 run 7 wicket partnership between Tom Forder, who smashed 69, and Shaun Cartledge (22) tipped the game back in Dove’s favour. With 8 wickets down but still 12 overs Dave Cartledge to smash a four over extra cover sparking jubilant scenes on the patio!

Dove Holes 207-5 v Dinting 178-8
Dove win by 29 runs (19Pts)
Unbeaten Dove won the toss, batted first and it was skipper Mark Vernon who set up the innings with a brilliant 74. Useful contributions from Mark Turner (25), Joe Gregory (34) and Adam Critchlow (27 not out) meant that Dove picked up maximum batting points finishing on 207-5.
In reply, the visitors were always in with a shout but Paul Scowen rolled back the years bowling 12 overs 3-48 and Joe Gregory picked up 2 key wickets as Dinting finished the 40 overs 29 runs short in 178-8.
Dove remain unbeaten and have now won 11 out of 11 league games.
