Dove won the toss and batted first away at Stalybridge.
Openers Gilbride (74) and Cartledge (22) put on 91 for the first wicket setting up the innings. Skipper Gregory (61) and Gemmell (49) hit at 107 run 4th wicket partnership as Dove posted 212-5.
In reply, the hosts had no answer to the Dove bowling attack and were dismissed for just 52. Sean Critchlow 3-7 and Dan Waterhouse 3-14 with the damage.

Unbeaten Dove and Newton met at DHCC and the visitors asked Dove to bat first. Mark Tuner hit 30 but with the score on 92-8 Dove were in trouble. Dan Walker had other ideas as he smashed 72 from 38 balls including 6 fours and 7 sixes as Dove posted 176 all out.
The visitors were always in the mix but Kev Waterhouse bowled a superb 10.1 overs of 6 wickets for 29 runs as Newton were all out for 147, 29 runs short, meaning Dove rain unbeaten and top of the league after 8 games.
