Hazel Grove 115ao v Dove Holes 256/7
Dove Holes win by 141 runs
The hungover Holians- not so fresh from the new Mr and Mrs Gilbrides wedding made the trip to Hazel Grove on a warm summers day. Grego won the toss and decided to have a bat.
Webby and Gem opened up. Webby fell early but then Gem and Eddie got over any early wobble putting on 40 before Gem fell for a well played 26. This brought Grego to the crease who put away anything loose.
The score moved onto 69 before Eddie got a slug burner – Grego then went soon after with the score on 75. Forder and Hally were now at the crease and both played extremely well putting on 87 before Hally fell for 41.
MT then came to the crease light on his toes after freshly chundering after the previous night. He put on 20 with Forder before he fell. Baggy then came to the crease and him and Forder put on a quick 69 – before Baggy was dismissed for a well played 31 in the last over. Forder finished 75no with Dove finishing on 256-7.
Wata took the new nut and bowled a superb triple wicket maiden. Crich also took one in his first over to reduce Grove to 0-4. From here Grove showed fight with the oversea and Higson putting on 51 before the Duke picked up Higson.
From here regular wickets fell with the oversea reaching 50 and being run out in the same ball. Wata finished with 5, the Duke 3 and Tom’s bombs finishing things off to cap off a MOTM performance- sponsored by Damien Moss.

Dove Holes 269/8 v Hazel Grove 96ao
Dove Holes win by 173 runs
A Sunny day at the Hallsteads arena played host to a clash between Dove 2s and the visiting Hazel Grove 2s. Hazel Grove won the toss and elected to bat. Dove started well getting off to 35-0 before the skipper Hilly departed.
Roy joined the fray and him and Kieren put on an excellent 66 dispatching anything short or wide to move the Dove on. This partnership also bought up Kier Colls 50. Kier was joined at the crease by Moty.
Another great partnership of 50 from these two which bought up an excellent 100 for Kieren Collins. An excellent batting display from Kier dispatching anything short, wide or too full as he eventually succumb to a good caught and Bowled.
Vern and Moty continued to pile on the runs with another big partnership of 77. Big John eventually arrived at the crease and carnage ensued. Big sixes over the score box and vintage cover crashing from the big lad before he got caught in some peakmix cement turning for a quick 2. Dove finished on a very impressive 269 for 9 after there allocated 45 overs.
Greeny and Bundy opened the bowling with Bundy bowling the Grove opener in his first over. Safe hands from Kier ensured he picked up the other opener before Ste Green picked up 3 in quick succession putting Dove firmly on top. Slick
Change Bowling from Roy and Brock further reduced Grove with Roy picking up 2 and 1 for Brock. Dove were looking to close the game after drinks so Keeg dropped the gloves to Moty and Wayne came on at the top end.
Wasim Ridgeway produced a hooping away swinger which was snaffled one handed by Moty and Wayne destroyed the stumps from the other end leaving Grove 96 all out.
An excellent batting display from Dove posting a big total. There could only be one MOTM today and that was the centurion. The Chris Green plumbing and heating man of the match was Kieren Collins.
